Our History

Our passion for art led us to fill our own walls with great pieces.
Rather than expand our wall space we decided instead to share our passion for collecting with you, and offer some of the great pieces we’ve collected, and some new acquisitions.

We learned that it was possible to purchase art from well known artists, even if we only had a very modest budget to decorate our walls. Many artists who are well known for their paintings were also prolific print makers, which offered us a way to buy original pieces of art from artists we loved, that would be more likely to hold its value and potentially increase over time. We found that if you’re patient and willing to put in the work you can find pieces you love, that have a real place in art history, might increase in value over time, and are often more affordable than a similar-sized piece you might find at a street fair (not that there’s anything wrong with art from street fairs!).

“Rule #1: Most art is a terrible investment.

Rule #2: Buy what you love.”

~A lot of people, if they’re being honest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a fine art print?

A: A fine art print, is an original piece of art. It is generally not a copy of another medium of art but rather the printed piece is created by the artist to be the original work of art. Often artists will generate more than one piece from the matrix that holds the ink, paint, etc., however sometimes only one print is created. Editions can be limited (numbered), or open, meaning the artist has not determined how many prints they will make.
